Ellen Brotzman, former owner of The Top Drawer in Cary, NC is now The Cabinet Lady. After owning and operating The Top Drawer, a decorative hardware and cabinet store from 2006-2013, Ellen has stepped away from the constraints of retail store ownership in order to devote herself full-time to kitchen design and cabinetry.

Although not a full-time “cabinet painter”, she understands that you work hard for your money, and wants your dream of a new kitchen to become a reality. She offers thoughtful design and affordable pricing on semi-custom cabinetry. Complete design service is offered at no charge for those who purchase cabinets from The Cabinet Lady.

Offering a wide array of materials, colors, shapes and sizes her customers rarely need to spend extra money for fully custom cabinets. When unusual colors, sizes or shapes are desired, or perhaps you just want to add a new kitchen island, The Cabinet Lady uses a North Carolina craftsmen to build your custom cabinets. This is typically the most expensive option.

What Sets The Cabinet Lady Apart

Ellen has two design studios, one in Apex and one in Atlantic Beach. Residents who own beach homes can rest assured, knowing that they can receive the same kind of service in the Triangle and for your beach house.
