There’s not a lot of information available on Leondras Owens Jr.’s website about him, so at best I’ll make some assumptions.

It looks like he started the business in 1990. From the photos he shares at his website, it looks like he sets up in the customers garage to spray the doors when possible.

He was raised right here in the Triangle. His dad was a draftsman in RTP and his mom was a nurse at Duke hospital. As one of 7 children, he dropped out of college, got married, started a family, and began to paint for a living.

What Sets Exceptional Painting Apart

It looks like the cabinet painting part of Exceptional Painting is an offshoot of the more traditional painting that he does. It doesn’t appear that Exceptional Painting specializes in cabinet painting. In fact, they don’t even list it on their Angie’s List page.

For their overall painting, they claim to be a Home Advisor’s top rated painting contractor of 2017 award winner. They also have lots of great reviews for their house painting.
